How to read these figures

The source is RCDI’s Half-Year Impact Report 2026, covering January–June 2026 and prepared in August 2026. Reach figures relate to distinct interventions; people may participate in more than one activity, so these figures are not summed into a unique beneficiary total.

The report’s summary describes 600+ women and girls reached. Its narrative describes a gathering of more than 600 people including women, girls, leaders and institutional representatives. We use the broader participant description until a disaggregated attendance total is available.

Technical evidence and reported outcomes

The Bonugo intervention cites water-quality verification reference FCT/RUWASSA/WS/CWS/RT/126. Community feedback includes easier water access and improved hygiene awareness. Reported health and school-attendance changes have not been confirmed through clinical or epidemiological studies.

School-based learning

WASH Clubs support practical hygiene, menstrual-health education, water safety, environmental responsibility and peer leadership. We describe the work without inventing an organisation-wide cumulative reach total.
